Despite Section 144, Sports Tiger T10 Super League takes place at Aravalli Cricket Ground in Jaipur

Corona virus outbreak has created an unprecedented situation around the world. India currently has more than 175 cases till date, and five deaths have been reported, of which one was reported today from Jaipur, Rajasthan.

State Governments, like the Rajasthan Government, have taken the tough yet sensible decision to impose Section 144 across the State to prevent a pandemic situation. These developments have had a significant hit on the events and tourism industry; with all the sports leagues, conferences etc. postponed until further notice.

However, despite the pandemic viral outbreak, the imposition of Section 144, Sports Ministry’s advisor, and Prime Minister’s advisory, the MyTeam11 owned SportsTiger launched T10 Super League which commenced its 2020 season with the first match between Power Giants and Panther Heroes on 20.03.2020.

This tournament is not approved by the Rajasthan Cricket Association or BCCI. The T10 cricket tournament started at 11 AM on 20th March at Aravalli Cricket Ground, Jaipur.

The tournament will be played among eight teams, from Rajasthan, across 14 matches. The 15 days tournament will go on until 5th April 2020. The matches are currently being streamed online on the Sports Tiger App, and no television channel is presently broadcasting it. The eight teams which will take part in the tournament are Desert Spartans, Hurricane Masters, Panther Heroes, Power Giants, Royal Tigers, Sixers Blasters, Ultimate Legends and Xtreme Sunrisers.
